About Code Quest

Champlain Code Quest is Champlain College's annual hackathon — a one-day creative sprint where students from all levels come together to build innovative tech projects. Whether you’re into web apps, AI, or hardware, this is your chance to turn ideas into reality, meet like-minded peers, and learn from industry mentors.

No experience? No problem. We’ll have workshops, mentors, and plenty of free snacks to keep your ideas flowing. Work solo or in teams of up to four — by the end of the day, you’ll have something real to show off, new friends, and maybe even a trophy.

What to Build

Your challenge is to design and build a project that reimagines the future. Think ahead to the year 2035 — what tools, systems, or innovations will make people’s lives better, smarter, or more sustainable?

Your project can fall into any domain — AI, health, education, environment, social impact, cybersecurity, or entertainment — as long as it embodies the spirit of innovation and forward thinking.

What to Submit

  1. Project Title & Description — a clear summary of what you built and why.

  2. GitHub Repository — containing your code and setup instructions.
